Some More Crazy Race Recaps!

I'm still catching up! I promise, I will get to all the race reports. I'm through all the e-mails for May with these recaps, and I'll be getting on the June e-mails soon! Keep sending them in when you complete them. I'm just going through the e-mails one at a time from the bottom up. I love getting through these e-mails and knowing I'm not the only crazy race-addict!!! There are some really amazing recaps in here, so get out there, read them, and support your fellow racing bloggers! (Yes, I like the exclamation point!)

Darlene ran a 3.5 mile corporate challenge.

TutuRunner completed her May race (Part 1, Part 2)

JoAnn accomplished a long-time goal of becoming a triathlete!!!

Kim completed her 6^th race by doing a duathlon with her hubby!

Tanya had a lot to report for May… three 5ks, two with age group awards! (Race 8 & 9, Race 10)

Jill completed her 10^th race of the year.

Danielle rocked a PR and a 2^nd place AG award!

Darlene had a great 5k race.

Lesley (me) ran a 3^rd half marathon in 15 days.

Carly ran a Warrior Dash!!! (Recap and the Photos)

Sarah ran her first half!!! (In my hometown, I might add. ;-) )

Stefano ran the Race for the Cure.

JoAnn ran the first race of the summer series.

Elizabeth ran Big Sur!!! (Jealous… definitely on my bucket list of races!)

Andrea had a ton of May races to report! (A half marathon, a tribute race, a 5k, another 5k, and a marathon relay.)

Richelle ran the Stillwater 10k!

Nancy ran a Virtual Marathon!

Kim completed her 4^th race of the year with a team duathlon.

Two in One Day!

See... I'm on a roll!!! I'll get through this pile of e-mails slowly, but surely. Again, give me a few more days to catch up, *then* if you haven't seen your link or think I missed a report, then e-mail me!!!

I just realized that this past Sunday, I ran my 12th race of the year, already!!! Anyone else already up to 12? I bet there are several out there with as many awesome race reports as there are.

Anyhow, on to business...

Allison finished her first 70.3 Half Ironman! Wow!!!
Lesley ran the Centennial Half as part of an 18-miler
Jill completed race 9 of the year at Cape Cod Irish Village Races
Heather ran Disney’s Expedition Everest Challenge.
Richelle ran a touching Benefit 5k and a 1 Mile Race where she PR’d.
Megan completed a 5k at a Cajun Food Fest! Yum.
Johann completed another Half Marathon.
Kim completed race 9 of the year with her second of 2 back-to-back half marathons!
Nora ran a 30k!!!
Christine ran the Delaware Half Marathon.
Christina had a couple May races to report – Here and Here
Stephanie covered 4 races in this post!
Elizabeth ran the Cleveland Marathon.
Marcia conquered a 25k!
Melissa got 2^nd in her AG at her 10 mile run and got an overall female win at this 5k!
Angelia and Julian were part of a triathlon relay!
and Julian completed another kids’ triathlon.
Hannah got to participate in a costume race and scored a PR!
Laura completed the Tildon Tough Ten.
Linzi PR’d at the Race for the Cure 5k!

Playing Catch Up!!!

Please forgive us... we have gotten way behind on posting your race reports. Sherry was attempting to pick up my slack while I tried to get through the remainder of the school year and marathon training, but then was surprised by the amazing news of her pregnancy... which, as all of us who have gone through it know, can be exhausting. So basically... we were busy/tired/crazy/pre-occupied etc and got behind. But it's summer, my marathon is over... and I am going to try to get us back on track with this blog. ;-)

With that said, there are a TON of race reports to post. I am going to do my best to post them in order that I received them via e-mail, and they won't all make it into one post. If after a week or so of playing catch up, you see I've missed a race report, just send me another e-mail with the link, and I'll try to get it posted for you!

Kim got in a second half in 8 days

Billie completed a really unique Survival Challenge

Erin ran the White Rock Centennial Half

Ronda got in a Quarter Marathon

Julian & Connor (age 9 and 4) completed a Triathlon

(these are my nephews, so go give them some shouts)

Angelia got it 48 biking miles on BikeMS

Darlene grabbed a 5k PR

Susan raced a Mother's Day 5k

Savitre travelled to Dallas for the Rock n Roll Half

Nora ran her first ever Trail Run

Kellie ran the Providence Half Marathon

Kristen completed a 5k, Virtual 5k, and her Second Half Marathon

Richelle completed the Cool Kids Virtual Marathon

And blogger is being VERY temperamental, so that's all for right now. I'll try to catch up on more later. (It's not letting me link the other races I had in this post... oh well, we'll get it up soon!!!) Even though some of these reports are older, go visit some new blogs and show your support for all the racing going on!!!

And just in case you missed Sherry and I while we fell woefully behind on this blog... here we are on the beach in San Diego a few days ago (before Rock n Roll San Diego).
